You have got to be joking…

Happy Friday!

And happy April Fools Day!

Have you experienced any April Fools pranks today? Need some Foolish in your Friday? Well, I have a little something along those lines for you to enjoy today. We’re going on a house tour, of sorts, made up of pictures from real MLS listings. Tragically, these photos were taken or submitted by professional realtors, and posted all over the internet.  If only they were April Fools jokes…

Photo tip #37: Roll the window down.

Teach 'em young.

I'm a trained professional.

Surly teenager included in asking price.

Location, location, location...

"...spacious back yard, organic fertilizer..."

No, really! It's a bedroom!

Unfortunate product placement

Really ugly fountain? Nope. Part of the mountain the house sits on.

Ummm...

Vera sighed and reminded herself that she was lucky to have a husband who didn't hunt wildlife, like her sister's husband.

(Vera's sister's bedroom)

Gangstas not included.

Bill had worked hard to make his grotto as good as Hef's.

Come on! Sing along! Rocky Mountain HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH, Colorado!

After they moved away, it was the neighbor's dog who missed them the most.

This could be a a shot from a movie. Titanic? Inception?

I know. That chandelier is WAY too distracting.

The realtor told them that new stainless steel appliances really help sell houses.

A big shout out of thanks to the brilliant watch dogs over at Ugly House Photos and Bad MLS Photos, who provided many of the images seen here today.  If you need more laughs then you have found here, please visit their sites!  Have a great weekend!

  1. This is hilarious! People actually show these pictures and expect people to be enticed? Very funny.

  2. Ha! Love it! Thanks for the laugh today. Just when I think I’ve seen it all in the real estate listings… 🙂

  3. Wow! I can’t believe that people would be so casual about probably their most valuable asset they own. Those were eye-ooening shots!
